Meet the Founder
Hi, my name is Geoff.
In 2013, I began looking into the possibility of getting my dual citizenship with France through heritage. Figuring out if it was a viable option was a confusing process. Even once I realized I could do this, all of the ins and outs of the process were overwhelming at first, but I was successful.
A few years after I used my French dual citizenship to move abroad, I found myself briefly unemployed. During this time, my sister had the great idea to use my knowledge and experience to help others. I was hesitant at first, but the idea was so exciting, I had to see what came from it.
With this suggestion, I decided to create The Dual Citizen, LLC.
I have taken from my experience to write a guide book about my journey and have begun offering my services as a consultant to help others through their own efforts to get dual citizenship through their heritage as well.
Without the support of my friends and family, accomplishing this all would have been so much more difficult and draining, so I want to be able to pass on this support to a growing community of dual citizens.
I feel that it is so important to be able to connect with your heritage and having dual citizenship allows for that on multiple levels. Not only does having a second passport allow for more travel opportunities, but having your citizenship can make you feel more like your heritage is truly a part of you.
